It’s obvious that Porsche’s history goes back a long time, but the love for Porsche runs nearly just as deep.

Throughout 86 countries worldwide, nearly a quarter of a million people participate in 700 Porsche Clubs, and the history of Porsche Clubs goes back 70 years. The very first Porsche Club was established on May 26, 1952, two short years after the first Porsche was delivered in Germany. Originally called Westfälischer Porsche Club Hohensyburg, the club is now known as the Porsche Club Westfalen. Outside of Germany, the first international Porsche Club came about in 1953, and the world’s largest Porsche Club, the Porsche Club of America, was established in 1955.

As independent and mainly voluntary organizations, Porsche Clubs are forged purely out of a shared love for Porsche among people, and together, all kinds of different events, drives, shows, and other functions happen all over the world. As the first Porsche Club’s founding involved Ferry Porsche and racing director Fritz Huschke von Hanstein, the Porsche friendship that brings clubs together runs all the way to the Porsche family itself, with Dr. Wolfgang Porsche attending events to this day. Whether it’s a classic or modern Porsche, a sedan, sports car, SUV, or even an electric Porsche, 70 years passing has only made the worldwide love for the Porsche brand even stronger. To celebrate this anniversary, Porsche is bringing about a series of communications and events under an “Enduring Passion” banner, celebrating and supporting Porsche Clubs and their events all over the world.
