Porsche’s 911 Targa sits beautifully in a botanic setting.

With dedication to automotive excellence and art, the Porsche brand showcases its timeless designs through an artistic expression titled ‘The Art of Dreams’. Originally launched in October 2021, the German automotive manufacturer creates art installations in major cities showcasing its timeless designs. Porsche is proud to present a piece by artist Ruby Barber as its next round of The Art of Dreams at Milan Design Week 2022. The exhibition takes on a botanic theme using nature and human-made spaces as its inspiration, with a magnificently restored 1972 Porsche 911 S 2.4 Targa as the main focus.

The ‘Everywhereness’ installation presents the classic Porsche 911 Targa in a courtyard setting on a mirror platform with white flowers perfectly surrounding it. Ruby Barber expresses her love for Porsche and this project by saying, “Working with a brand like Porsche offers a wonderful opportunity to explore these connections with emphasis on technology, architecture, design and beauty”. The Art of Dreams: Everywhereness art exhibit by Porsche x Ruby Barber is on-scene in the courtyard of the Palazzo Clerici from June 6th to 12th during Milan Design Week 2022.
