Porsche releases a 90-minute documentary featuring Michael Fassbender’s journey to the Le Mans 24-hour race.
Porsche has revealed “Road to Le Mans. The Film,” a captivating 90-minute documentary following Hollywood star Michael Fassbender’s journey from childhood dream to competing in the world’s most prestigious 24-hour race. This free-to-view film is available on Porsche’s YouTube channel from November 17, offering an exceptional look into Fassbender’s emotional and intense path to Le Mans. The film tracks Fassbender, born in Heidelberg and now 46, as he ventures on fulfilling his long-held racing aspirations. After being introduced to Porsche by American actor and fellow racer Patrick Dempsey, Fassbender began his racing journey in 2018. He was rigorously trained under the Porsche Racing Experience and competed in the European Le Mans Series (ELMS), with a Porsche coach by his side.
This journey, filled with highs and lows, was documented in the “Road to Le Mans” YouTube series, garnering a passionate following and millions of views.
