Rimac Group enters a new chapter with a new CEO.
Within the automotive industry and the high-tech world as a whole, Rimac has seen explosive growth in recent years, becoming one of the biggest titans of hypercar innovation, electric performance, and engineering excellence. With the highly exclusive Rimac Nevera hypercar breaking records and the new Bugatti Tourbillon being revealed as the first vehicle to come out of the newly-merged Bugatti Rimac, Rimac Group is on top of the automotive world.
However, its founder, the celebrated visionary Mate Rimac, is opening a new chapter for Rimac Group by bringing a new CEO to the fold. Stepping down as CEO of Rimac Group, the company has now appointed Antony Sheriff as the new CEO. As the new CEO of Rimac Group, Sheriff brings nearly a decade of experience within Rimac, and even more experience from throughout the luxury automotive industry to the table. Starting in 2015 as a Supervisory Board Member for Rimac Automobili, he eventually became chairman of the Supervisory Board for Rimac Group in 2023.
Mate Rimac will remain CEO of Bugatti Rimac, as well as of Rimac Technology, of which Rimac Group is the majority shareholder and the only shareholder respectively. His step down from the CEO position of Rimac Group is indicative of the incredible growth and expansion that the company has seen, sitting at the forefront of hypercar engineering, design, and luxury, as well as of the technology of electric mobility and power as a whole. With a new CEO, the future of Rimac Group looks even brighter than before.
