Only a Rolls-Royce Phantom could have a daring sculpture adorn the dashboard.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom, the ultimate luxury sedan celebrated the world over for its dedication to opulence, features an incredibly unique feature: the Gallery. With a glass window across the dashboard, Rolls Royce Phantom owners can display a work of art or design inside to be displayed for anyone inside the car. In true Dubai fashion, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Dubai presents its own Gallery display, a bespoke sculpture of carbon fiber that adds a boldly contemporary edge to the Phantom.

The piece, called The Carbon Veil, was commissioned and designed by Rolls-Royce’s Bespoke Collective team in Goodwood, and created by a well-known carbon-fiber artist, Alastair Gibson, who gained expertise from Formula 1 in creating carbon fiber sculptures. It is constructed from 150 sheets of carbon fiber, compressed with resin and aligned for a perfectly horizontal and parallel weave pattern throughout the entire sculpture, and then put together in the Goodwood Clean Room, which was completed in 2020. It’s a medical-grade facility with a completely sterile environment, which allows the Rolls-Royce Phantom Gallery to be assembled without any dust or particles.

The rest of the car was designed around the incredible Carbon Veil Gallery, with a gunmetal exterior and bright orange accents against the light leather in the interior, as well as a special carbon fiber Spirit of Ecstasy. Leave it to Rolls-Royce to drive straight to the intersection of art and luxury.
