Rolls-Royce has just released the first episode of their “Inspiring Greatness” series, featuring Refik Anadol. Anadol was actually part of the recent “MUSE, The Rolls-Royce Art Programme.” His most recent digital artwork is entitled Art of Perfection: Data Painting. To create this artwork, he took all of the data regarding the color of every Rolls-Royce created in Goodwood over the last 10 years and conveyed it in a digital painting.
The artwork was originally debuted during Frieze Los Angeles earlier this year. It’s truly an inspiring piece of art and hearing Anadol describe his thought process regarding the creation of his digital artwork in the video below is quite eye-opening. If you’d like to see Art of Perfection: Data Painting for yourself, it will be presented on permanent display at Rolls-Royce’s headquarters in Goodwood, England.
