Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will be Raffled by JDRF

Type 1 Diabetes is a struggle for anyone who has it, and even more so for the little ones. That’s why Ford has been donating special vehicles to support Juvenile diabetes research. Pulling out all the stops, this year a Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 will be raffled by the JDRF. The Venom paint scheme is 1 of 1, and it was a combined effort between Penske and Protean.

Second-place winners will receive a Ford VIP Experience for two at the 2020 Daytona 500. First-place will receive the quickest street-legal Mustang ever offered. It makes 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque from only 5.2L. Making supercar power from such small displacement makes it the most power and torque dense V8 in the world. Combined with massive brakes, it can run 0-100mph-0 in only 10.6 seconds. The drawing takes place Nov. 10th at the Ford Conference Center in Dearborn. Tickets are $10, and all the proceeds go to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. Click on the link below to purchase tickets, and stay with us for all your Ford news.
