Hertz and Shelby continue the incredible legacy that the “Rent-A-Racer” started in 1966.
The Shelby GT350-H allowed Hertz customers the opportunity to experience an incredible performance car that would usually be reserved for the highest echelons of experts, enthusiasts, and customers. Since then, a long line of collaborative Mustangs between Hertz and Shelby have carried this tradition on, and for 2022, it has returned yet again. This time, the Mustang Shelby GT500-H fastback comes with modifications that provide over 900 horsepower, which just like the 1966 car that this newest GT500-H is inspired by, provides the general public with access to cars that have a level of performance that they would have never been able to access before. The Ford Shelby GT-H convertible also provides amazing performance with the wind in the driver’s hair.

Both the fastback and the convertible versions of the car will be available with Rapid Red, Oxford White, Carbonized Gray, and Shadow Black exterior paint, along with classic “Le Mans” gold racing stripes and Hertz Edition and Shelby 60th anniversary badging. The cars look and sound the part with a Borla cat-back exhaust and 20-inch aluminum wheels with a unique Shelby body kit to match. The cars will be available in Fort Myers, Fort Lauderdale, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego, Atlanta, Dallas, San Francisco, and Tampa, and they’re coming soon.
