Shelby American SEMA Preview 2019

Summer may be over, but nobody told the team at Carroll Shelby International. That’s why their team is bringing the heat to Las Vegas. Two new concepts will be unveiled this year, so here is a Shelby American SEMA Preview for 2019.

Never content to let the Mustang rest, the Old Man would be proud of the 2020 Ford Shelby GT500 Dragon Snake. The name is taken from an option package on the original Shelby Cobra for sale. Dragon Snakes were Cobras built for drag racing, and the new one is no exception.

Based on the new Shelby GT500, they worked with Ford Performance to cut all unnecessary weight. Borla helped design a new exhaust system, consolidating multiple catalytic converters into a pair of stainless high-flow units. The Shelby forged wheels are lighter and stronger, a must-have at the drag strip.

The car makes over 800 horsepower and weighs less, so Ford fans might have another choice in the near future. Following the same formula, Shelby also arrived with a wild F-150. Taking the aesthetic and performance factors of the Crew Cab Shelby F-150, the Standard Cab model looks ready to race.

Under the hood of the Shelby F-150 Super Snake Sport is a 755 horsepower supercharged 5.2L V8. Another custom Borla exhaust system will scare everyone in traffic, and the traction bars will keep the rear tires planted. Keep in mind that they are asking for everyone’s feedback.

Should one or both receive attention, they could be heading to production. Tell us what you think of these fast Fords in the comments below and stay with us for all your Shelby news.
