This 1989 Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary Edition will be presented at Carlisle Auction’s Summer Auction to be held Saturday, June 22nd at 11 a.m. in Carlisle Pennsylvania.
This is one of only 658 1989 Lamborghini Countach examples produced. The 25th Anniversary Edition represented the pinnacle of the Countach lineage. Over 500 changes were made for the Anniversary Edition, including the restyled – integrated air intakes, restyled front air dam and side skirts, wide wheel flares, and new OZ Racing wheels. These changes resulted in an incredibly special Lamborghini that has become an automotive icon.
Considered to be one of the first true supercars, the Countach is powered by a 5,167 cc, 455 HP V12 engine. Power is applied to the asphalt through a gated 5-speed manual transmission. The Countach could reach zero to sixty under 5 seconds and on to a top speed of 192 mph. Numbers like that were incredible back in the Countach’s heyday, but are still nothing to scoff at.
This example being offered for sale is finished in stunning Rosso Sivila Red with an immaculate tan leather interior. The odometer reads an amazingly low 3,676 kilometers ( 2,284 miles)! This vehicle represents extremely well and will be the jewel of any collection.
