2003 Ferrari Enzo With 151 Miles Headed to Mecum’s Monterey Auction

After the creation of the Ferrari 288 GTO, F40 and F50 came the one halo supercar that would be named after the founder of the famed sports car manufacturer: the Enzo.

Designed and created with Formula 1 technology in mind, the Enzo has both the styling and heart of a F1 race car. Powering the car is an all-aluminum V12 engine that is the second-largest-displacement V12 engine in Ferrari’s long history. Controlling the engine is an advanced electric system that took care of everything from the fuel-injection metering to ignition timing.

At the end of the day when the pedal meets the floor the Enzo is capable of producing 660 horsepower and 484 lb-ft of torque. Mated to the massive engine is a programmable 6-speed F1 paddle-shift gearbox. When the power is tested, the Enzo will run from 0-60 mph in 2.2 seconds and complete a quarter-mile in 11.1-seconds.

This specific example of the iconic Ferrari Enzo is headed to Mecum’s Monterey 2017 event with only 151 original miles on its odometer. It’s so new, in fact, that there’s still plastic covering the cabin floors. Its exterior is finished in the famous Rosso Corsa paint and has a black Nero interior. It’s the quintessential Ferrari.
