Ferrari shocked the world when they announced the details of their 70th-anniversary celebration. Inspired by their most famous models, each anniversary edition car would be unique. Their Tailor Made program dug into the history books to adapt classic liveries to each model in their lineup. Only 350 cars were created, each one with details that will never be offered again.
Collectors jumped at this unprecedented offering, and most of them were sold before they arrived at the dealer. Such was the case with this 2018 Ferrari 488 Spider. It was purchased and parked in a climate controlled collection. With only 779 miles, it is still under warranty for over 2 years. This specific anniversary model was inspired by the iconic 1965 275 GTB/C Speciale. It was one of only 3 competition cars, making it far more valuable than the 250 GTO it was based on.
To pay homage to such a classic, Tailor Made replicated the original livery, using the original paint mix for the Argento Nurburgring accents. Most of the exterior trim is gloss black, and the interior details are dark polished metal. The seats are also inspired by the original, with Grigio Apollo and black leather. Be kind to the door sills, as they are hand carved Italian walnut.

Under the hood is their 3.9L twin-turbo V8. It offers 660 horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque with a soundtrack that is unmistakable.
