Only 50 examples of the 2020 Ford Mustang Carroll Shelby Signature Series cars were planned for production when announced, and GAA Classic Cars is offering up #17 of the run. This example will cross the auction block at the July 2020 event with just 16 miles on its odometer, making it as close to new as it gets. It’s finished in a striking Grabber Lime paint with black accents and a black interior.
This edition comes with a long list of upgrades that make it much, much more than a standard Mustang. The first modification that will catch eyes and ears is the Whipple supercharger system that raises the power output up to 825 horsepower. Along with this, there are other performance upgrades like the performance half-shafts, Shelby “extreme cooling” (radiator, aluminum tank, heat exchanger), 20-inch forged aluminum wheels, Shelby by Borla Exhaust system, Shelby by Brembo brake system and so much more. And we haven’t even mentioned body components, like the new front fascia assembly, rocker panels, ram air hood, rear diffuser and more. All of these upgrades give the exterior a super-aggressive appearance that’s aided by the roar of the powerful engine. But it’s not just the mechanics and exterior that are upgraded on this special edition Shelby Mustang. Inside, there’s a Shelby spec cabin that’s plush, stylish and sporty. The cabin is also adorned by the embroidered signature of Carroll Shelby on the seats and plaque signifying its “Signature Edition” status on the dashboard.
