RENNtech, the industry leader in Mercedes-AMG performance tuning, has developed a sophisticated set of performance products for the Aston Martin Vantage and the AMG sourced V8. Elegant looks combined with RENNtech’s ECU Performance tune, stainless steel Downpipes and adjustable Coilover Suspension, adds a heavyweight punch to the Vantage’s performance and driving experience.
From start up, the Stainless-Steel Downpipes with 200 Cell Catalytic Converters carries a low growl working its way to a brutal howl. Inside the cabin the V8’s sound sweet-talks you into playing the greatest hits on the eight-speed ZF soundtrack, going (too) fast and pushing gear changes toward the red line.
The remapped BOSCH ECU pumps out up to +85 HP and +89 LB-FT of additional power, taking the Vantage from 530 HP to 615 HP and improving out-of-corner speed and rolling acceleration. The independently adjustable Coilovers allow for ride-height adjustments and vehicle corner weighting, upgrading the Vantages handling with a grippy low center of gravity and superb cornering balance. The RENNtech 3-pc Carbon Fiber Spoiler seen here, accentuates the aggressive rear end styling of the Vantage and will be available for purchase along with Carbon Fiber Front Canards in the coming weeks.
Knowing that the AMG M177 V8 can easily handle over 750 HP, proven by RENNtech’s engine development of the AMG C63 and GT S, the collaboration between Affalterbach and Gaydon promises great performance potential for Aston Martin’s line up.
