Desert Power Wagons: Only The Best!

If you have always dreamed of owning a classic Dodge Power Wagon, you know they are hard to come by. They were built for the Army and Municipalities than literally ran them into the ground. So the only source for survivors is out west where rust is rare. That is why Desert Power Wagons finds original cabs and reinvents them for the 21st century.

First off, everything is stripped. Their fabricators box the frame and add gussets for the new coil-over suspension. Choose from adjustable coils or air ride for the ultimate in comfort. Bolted to them are Dana 70 axles with lockers. You choose your gear ratio and between a new Dodge automatic or a traditional manual.

While the frame and suspension are coming together, the cab is stripped and stretched. Look closely and you will see the front doors have a more modern shape. That is because the fabricators add 4″ of length to make the fronts a modern 37″ length. Getting into and out of an original power wagon is not elegant or comfortable, and this proprietary stamping is only available from Desert Power Wagons.

The modern crew cab design is perfect for friends and family, with the rear suicide doors opening to new leather seats. Front seats are from Cadillac, the same ones found in the CTS Premium edition. Power and lumbar make for a nice cruise, as you listen to the SRT8 Hemi under the hood. Available with or without a Whipplecharger, the latter is able to run a 13.0 in the quarter mile! If you don’t need to go that fast, standard equipment includes power windows, locks, & 360* cameras integrated into the infotainment system.

Cummins fans don’t despair, the 6BT is also available. Don’t ask for a 4BT, because anyone could do that. The original winch is a Braden MU-2 and now it is hydraulic, with a Mile Marker controller. From start to finish, each build is a 7-month process, and it is done by hand in Scottsdale, Arizona. This build for Maxxis stole the show at SEMA, so if you are interested, pricing starts at $269,000. You could not replicate this build for a fraction of that price, so click the link below for more information.
