Ernie Boch Jr. Hosts Successful Ferrari Portofino Unveiling Celebration at Ferrari of New England

Ernie Boch Jr. hosted his Portofino Unveiling Celebration on Monday, June 11 at Ferrari of New England in Norwood, MA.

The event attracted dedicated Ferrari clients and enthusiasts, as well as some of New England’s notable faces. Among them was third generation Super Bowl player Ted Karras and his lovely wife, Rachel; former Red Sox pitcher Tim Wakefield and his wife, Stacy; Person of Interest star Kevin Chapman, who shortly afterwards jetted off to L.A. to film his new series; legendary Ferrari collector and Dream Ride founder Michael Bozzuto; and Ferrari Club of America Membership Chairman Suzy Hiniker and her husband, Gary.

The entire evening was ethereal. Before the Ferrari Portofino was revealed, Boch kept his guests occupied with live art entertainment. There were contortionists dressed up as falcons, birds, race car drivers, and pilots. A stilt walker circulated the floor, while a confident fire eater stunned spectators. Actors posed as living steam-punk statues, holding their stance ever so perfectly. The live art display was simply magical, and kept guests in awe. Boch also served up tender lamb with salsa verde, pastries stuffed with Italian mortadella, pulled pork sliders, and more.

Shortly after 8:00 p.m., the Ferrari Portofino was revealed. Guests crowded around the Portofino shoulder to shoulder to be the first to see the highly anticipated GT. Boasting a lightweight body, twin-turbocharged V8 engine, and speeds of over 200 MPH, the Portofino did not disappoint.
