Goldin Auctions to Offer Rare Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Items

Goldin Auctions is proud to offer one of the finest collections ever put up for auction. Coming in October 2018 Goldin Auctions will be putting up for auction over 300 items from the NBA’s all-time leading scorer and Hall of Famer Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. With his patented “sky-hook”, Kareem revolutionized the game of basketball and was a consummate winner – cutting the nets to three NCAA championships at UCLA and winning six NBA titles with the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers.

Originating from Kareem’s own personal collection, some of the items that will be hitting the auction block include his 1970 and 1976 All-Star Game uniforms, the very basketball used when he broke the all-time leading scoring mark on April 5, 1984, his 1969 UCLA championship ring, his 1971 Milwaukee Bucks championship ring, his 1982 Los Angeles Lakers championship ring, a Milwaukee Bucks home jersey from the early 1970’s, his Lakers home jersey and matching shorts from the 1986-87 season, his game used goggles and various awards – including the 1970-71 Podoloff Trophy for the NBA MVP and his 1969 Naismith College Player of the Year trophy. These items and the entire collection can be seen at www.goldinauctions.com.
