The High Brew Liner is a limited-edition 1952 GMC PD 4103 Coach bus originally built for Continental Trailways. It is #994 of 1,500 ever made. It's been made road-worthy by the nation's leading vintage bus mechanic, "Bus Grease Monkey" Scott Crosby. Nearly everything about its operation is still authentic to its age, including all the following characteristics: No power steering, manual non-syncromesh 4-speed gearbox, no speedometer, no tachometer and no fuel gauge.
The bus interior was converted from its original over-the-road bus layout to a motorhome in the early 1970s. The exterior features pin striping by renowned pin striper Jimmy C, added in 2012.
For the High Road Tour, the OutCold and High Brew teams have redesigned the bus interior as a dining car with inspiration taken from vintage transportation. The interior redesign features the original parcel shelf from the bus' time as a Continental Trailways passenger bus, including original individual reading lights.
The exterior of the bus features a custom bar structure that telescopes out from the under-bus storage bays. The bar concept was designed and fabricated by OutCold and artist/fabricator Nick Berg.
