Select Supercars From Michael Fux’s Collection Heading to Mecum Kissimmee

Highly successful entrepreneur Michael Fux may very well be more famous for his massive collection of modern-day supercars than for his prosperous business ventures, even though the latter certainly deserves all the credit for the former. But for anyone passionate about cars, the discrepancy isn’t the least bit hard to understand when face-to-face with Fux’s awe-inspiring automotive spread. And now, Mecum Auctions is offering 25 examples of Fux’s awe-inspiring automotive collection at their Kissimmee event, January 3-13, 2019. Below is just a select sample of the cars they’ll be auctioning off.


2016 Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta

Iconic Rosso Corsa coats this 2016 LaFerrari Aperta’s sleek coachwork and provides dramatic contrasting accents on the Pirelli P-Zero-shod 19-inch and 20-inch forged alloy wheels and brake calipers, the theme repeating on the exposed intake plenum and in the black leather and carbon-fiber interior. Exterior options include Argento Nürburgring racing livery trim; carbon-fiber wheel caps, outside mirrors, lower trim rear fog lamp; black sport exhaust tips; a front lift system; and a black carbon-fiber hardtop. The LaFerrari Aperta’s charger, books, manuals, tool kit car cover are included, along with a set of driving gloves. On the interior of this pristine example, optional amenities include telemetry and track cameras, integrated audio with navigation and red headrest embroidery. 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari

Considered one of most exclusive and sought-after Ferraris of the modern era, only 499 examples of the LaFerrari coupe were constructed between June 2013 and January 2016, and only for a select clientele. The example on offer—with a mere 418 miles on the odometer—was constructed in 2014 and came from the factory resplendent in custom-ordered Rosso Fuoco paint with 19/20-inch black alloy forged wheels that feature custom red pinstriping. Other custom-ordered factory options include carbon-fiber fog lamps, custom-stitched Prancing Stallions on the headrests, dashboard carbon-fiber livery, Prancing Horse emblem on the gas-filler cap, color-matched interior vents, red stitching on the seats and the carbon-fiber lower part package. An indication of the car’s unique, bespoke nature is the inclusion of the signatures of all the Ferrari technicians that constructed the car on the engine’s carbon-fiber coverplate.


2016 Porsche 911 R

This epic machine is a virtually new 2016 Porsche 911R with only 57 original miles. This 6-speed manual transmission-equipped Porsche features more than $60,000 in options the Porsche Special Wishes Custom Tailoring interior; black leather on the dash pad, steering wheel, steering column, center console, armrests, door panels and seats with deviated GT Silver stitching; front axle lift; Sport Chrono; LED headlights; Bose audio; and carbon-fiber mirrors and door sills. 


2018 Porsche 911 GT3

This stunning Guards Red 2018 Porsche GT3 sports only 51 original miles and the 6-speed manual GT Sport transmission. This machine is equipped with more than $25,000 worth of factory options that include the leather/Alcantara interior package in black with red stitching, a front-axle lift system, 18-way adaptive sport seats with memory, LED headlights in black, red-painted climate-control panel, console, dash, door panels and air vent slats, red seat belts, red instrument dials and a sport exhaust system. It also features 20-inch GT3 center-locking wheels painted black with a color-coded Guards Red pinstripe on the outer lip. 2013 McLaren 12C Spider

The stablemate to collector Michael Fux’s 2012 McLaren MP4-12C, this 2013 MP4-12C Spider was likewise fully personalized for Fux, this time at a cost exceeding even that of the 2012 coupe, specifying among its $150,000 in factory options a custom-blended paint color, the eponymously named Fux Purple. The paint is just one of the myriad custom features provided by McLaren Special Operations to make this MP4-12C Spider a one-of-a-kind rendition of McLaren’s amazing supercar.  This 2013 MP4-12C has been fully customized by McLaren Special Operations. Complementing the unique Fux Purple are a body-colored carbon-fiber front bumper insert and matching mirror arms, seat backs wheel inners. Of course, the engine covers, sill panels, diffuser wheel arches are also carbon-fiber pieces. Behind the 20-inch rear and 19-inch front forged lightweight wheels are McLaren’s optional carbon-ceramic disc brakes with polished calipers. Additionally fitted with a full white leather interior with purple stitching and heated memory seats, an MSO dedication plate on the driver’s door panel, MSO F1-style front badge and MP4-12C branding on the sill panels, the car is completed with a vehicle lift system, exhaust front and rear parking sensors.


2012 McLaren 12C

If the “basic” McLaren MP4-12C can be described as sensational, this 2012 example with $125,000 in factory options and just 769 miles since new practically defies qualification. This MP4-12C’s cornucopia of optional features begins with its special-order McLaren Orange paint and matching McLaren Orange full leather interior incorporating McLaren Orange on the leather steering wheel, gear levers, air vents and cluster housing, a truly mesmerizing combination sharply offset by lightweight forged wheels in Stealth finish with Orange pinstriping. The standard cast-iron brake rotors were traded for carbon-ceramic units inside McLaren Orange calipers to complete the car’s brilliant palette. Custom carbon-fiber components are used extensively throughout, including the splitter, diffuser, engine covers, engine-bay panel, seat backs, sill panels, wheel arches, the leaf screen, engine-bay vents deck grille. exhaust, stealth pack a Meridian surround-sound package round out the list of premium extras. Finally, in a show of enthusiasm for this fulsomely endowed MP4-C, McLaren Special Operations technicians put their personal signatures to the carbon-fiber engine surrounds.


2018 Mercedes-AMG GT C Roadster

Available as either a coupe or roadster, the example on offer is a 2018 AMG GT C Roadster and one of just 50 special examples produced to honor the 50th anniversary of AMG. Exclusive features unique to the 50th Anniversary editions include: Designo Graphite Gray Magno exterior paint; Silver Pearl and black Nappa leather diamond-stitched upholstery; black chrome front splitter, fender-vents fins, side-skirt inserts, rear-diffuser trim and exhaust outlets; AMG black chrome interior trim; gloss black AMG forged cross-spoke wheels; AMG full Dinamica suede-covered steering wheel and roof liner; and AMG Edition 50 badging. Additional features include the AMG carbon-fiber engine cover, Burmester sound system, AMG compound braking system, AMG performance exhaust system, active air-management system and Mercedes-Benz’s Parktronic parking and Distronic autonomous cruise-control systems.
