One of Only 237 2005 Ford GTs Produced in Mark II Black at GAA Classic Cars’ November Auction

Given the limited run of the 2005 Ford GT, you might assume they are all identical underneath. This presumption can cost you when it comes to collectability, because Ford offered much more than paint and stripes. Speaking of the color, only 237 cars were finished in Mark II Black, and only 182 had silver stripes. The buyer knew what to ask for, as this car also has all four options.

Starting with the McIntosh Audio System, it has 5.25″ woofers, divorced tweeters, an 8″ subwoofer, and a 1,000-watt amplifier. It has been lauded as the best factory audio of all time. Also onboard are the BBS forged monoblock lightweight wheels. The thin spokes have low rotational mass and allow everyone to see the red brake calipers

The owner has driven it once a week to keep everything in new condition, so the 5,016.2 miles were accumulated in order to prevent the headaches of storing a car with delivery mileage. Since it has been climate-controlled, the car cover is still in its duffle bag and you will also receive the window sticker, MSO, paper tag, and both keys. Even the casting flash of the sidewalls on the original tires can’t be overlooked. Cars with less mileage will have sticky brakes and condensation in all fluids, and that is why GAA Classic Cars only offers the best.

This lot is one of the vehicles offered at GAA Classic Cars’ upcoming auction in Greensboro NC November 5-7, 2020.  Register to bid online or in-person today!
