There’s a good chance you’ve heard of or seen the Razor GR Spyder online or in person. This one-off car was created by PPI Speed Design and is a complete re-imagining of the Audi R8 V10 Spyder. We’re pleased to announce that this car is actually for sale and could be yours if you act quick.
For its performance, the V10 engine was modified to create over 621 horsepower and 490 lb-ft of torque. This allows the Spyder to run 0-62 mph in just 3.2 seconds and hit a top speed of 208 mph. Those aforementioned modifications include a remapped ECU and exhaust system. However, the still managed to maintain fuel efficiency, emission standards, and reliability.
On the outside is an exterior that has been molded by aerodynamic testing in the wind tunnel. Through extensive use of carbon fiber, not only do the new aerodynamically-focused body panels reduce the weight, but they are also very rigid. PPI also created special “aeroCalifornia” doors that allow for an even more “open-air driving experience” than before.
Inside, PPI replaced the leather with Bentley san beige hides and perforated performance Nappa leather. The headliner and trunk also has their covering replaced with leather and Alcantara. PPI also replaced the original plastic parts with mixed interior trim.
