RENNtech CLUBSPORT AMG GT R: Fastest Street-Legal Mercedes Around Nürburgring-Nordschleife

We introduce the RENNtech Clubsport Package for the AMG GT R. This is the third and ultimate development stage in the transformation from luxury supercar to teeth clenching track performance.

RENNtech redefined the AMG GT R with the “Orange Beast.” Sporting an ECU Upgrade, BOV Adapters, High-Flow Air Filters and Stage II upgraded Turbochargers, with a modified OEM turbocharger core to fit a large compressor, larger turbine wheel and equipped with improved, more robust bearings, the “Orange Beast” produced 761 HP and 632 LB-FT, that’s gains of up to +152 HP and +91 LB-FT. Launching from 0 to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds and passing the 1⁄4 mile in
10.7 seconds at an incredible 136 mph, all on a non-prepped road surface with OEM Michelin Cup Sport 2 tires.

The “Orange Beast” was the prelude to the “Beast of the Green Hell” showcased in April 2018 at Top Marques Monaco’s 15 Anniversary premier European car show displaying supercars, rare classics and ecological vehicles. There, RENNtech revealed the first prototype of their Mercedes-Benz GT R Aero Package. The package consists of 3D-printed front canards, side rocker panels, rear diffuser extensions, and an addition wing lip with end plates for an added sporty look. All
the aero was designed and developed in-house at RENNtech HQ in Stuart, FL. then performance tested by their German subsidiary at the Nurburgring Nordschleife, Germany, the world’s most demanding race-track.

From “Orange Beast” to “Beast of the Green Hell” to “yeah let’s take it to the race-track” with the ultimate “RENNtech Clubsport” AMG GT R. Featuring a 5- point Racing Harness, Clubsport Racing Roll-Bar, Performance Brake Upgrade with more grip/bite, better cooling and increased durability Front Rotors, and 2 Brake Pads Options Front + Rear. Option 1 is for the occasional track-night and street use offering more grip/bite, less noise than the race option, a temperature range of 120 deg-1300 deg (wide operating range), reduced thermal warping and vibration a flat torque curve that makes its very predictable. For the avid racers Option 2 is for Track-Day and Race Use. Tested and race proven on the RENNtech AMG GT4 race car, option 2 front and rear brake pads are more aggressive with higher friction and better pad life, the flat torque curve makes them also very predictable with a temperature range of 120 deg-1300 deg (wide operating range).

Making this AMG GT R a true Clubsport racer is the full RENNtech R3 Performance Package, 761 HP and 633 LB-FT, combined with the Aero Package, front canards, side skirts, rear diffuser attachments and wing lip with end plates, sitting atop RENNtech RPS 10.2 Forged Wheels in 19”x10.0”/20”x12.0” by Vossen.
