Rosso Corsa and Nero LaFerrari is Heading to Auction

One of Mecum Auction’s main attractions at their Monterey 2017 event is one of Ferrari’s finest creations, ever. Called the LaFerrari, this Italian hypercar is unlike any other vehicle that the famed automaker has ever created.

The LaFerrari sits among the 288 GTO, F40, F50 and Enzo as Ferrari’s famed ‘halo’ cars. Unlike its predecessors, the LaFerrari utilizes a hybrid drivetrain. Its 6.3-liter V12 engine produces 788 horsepower, while an electric motor adds in an additional 161 hp. When these power figures are combined, they put the LaFerrari at a total of 949 hp, the most of any Ferrari ever created.

One of only 499 produced, this 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari is cloaked in mouthwatering Rosso Red and Nero two-tone paint with carbon-fiber mirrors and black-painted calipers for the monstrous Brembo brakes. The carbon fiber cockpit presents occupants with snug-fitting black leather seat inserts with red piping, main and secondary controls for audio, navigation, climate and telemetry, and for the driver, a reconfigurable digital instrument panel with central tachometer or competition-derived display.

With only 566 original miles clocked onto its odometer, this LaFerrari is in pristine condition. Those interested should know that it will be at the Mecum Auction’s Monterey 2017 event, which runs August 16-19. You can find out more info by clicking the button below.
