For over thirty years the Iowa Gas Swap Meet has been the premier gas and oil show in the country. Along with the swap meet, Iowa Gas also hosts an auction onsite at the venue. The 2018 Iowa Gas Auction with be conducted by Route 32 Auctions of Crawfordsville, IN.
Route 32 Auctions specializes in Petroliana and Automobilia as well as General Store memorabilia. This year’s Iowa Gas Auction will span two days of the meet. There will be an auction on the evening of Thursday, August 2nd featuring a Mobil collection consisting of approximately 125 pieces starting at 6:00 PM. CDT. Friday, August 3rd will be the larger of the two days featuring approximately 475 pieces and will start at 9:00 A.M. CDT.
Along with bidding live onsite at the auction, there will also be three online bidding platforms, Proxibid, Live Auctioneers and HiBid, as well as phone and absentee bidding.
