Skyway Corvette Club’s 21st Annual Charity Show

Skyway Corvette Club recently held their 21st annual charity show, “Corvettes on the Circle 2017” at St. Armand’s Circle in Sarasota, Florida.  While sharing and celebrating our passion for an American automotive classic, the Chevrolet Corvette, this event also gives us the opportunity to support our charity, the Honor Flight Network.

Participation in our show is now up to 175 Corvettes with a very large population of spectators who can view the cars and speak with the owners in a lovely setting free of traffic.  Although this event is based in Southwest Florida, we draw participants from as far as the Panhandle in the north, south to Miami and to the east coast of the state.

For the past three years the focus of this event has been to support the Honor Flight Network, namely veterans in the Southwest Florida area.  The goal and mission of the Network is to transport America’s veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honoring their service and sacrifices without cost to the veterans. Currently over 159,700 veterans have been given this opportunity and the program continues to expand.

The duPont Registry has continually support our efforts and their participation is much appreciated by our organization.
