Sneak Peek At ‘The Fate of the Furious’ Cars: Tire Stickers One of the Major Accessories Seen In The Film

With the eighth installment of the Fast & Furious movie due out this April 14 – “The Fate of the Furious” – questions abound: How will the movie work without Paul Walker? What’s the game plan moving forward – will they continue making films after this?

Despite so many questions, one thing is certain: Over the years, the Fast & Furious movies have had a way of both validating and defining car culture.

The first film, “The Fast and the Furious,” which (get ready to feel old) came out 16 years ago, ushered in an explosion in popularity for Japanese imports and tuner culture.

On one hand, it introduced the world to this side of car culture, helping create mass popularity for it. On the other hand, tuner life was already thriving, so the fact that the movie focused on it in the first place was a validation of its existing popularity.

We see this pattern all over these movies: The Fast & Furious series helps popularize things that were once niche but is also a reaction to what is already popular real car folks.

Just watch how many heroes who started out driving small import tuners end up driving huge muscle cars by the end of the series. It’s a reaction to the resurgence of the great American muscle.

So, it’s with great interest that we watch new Fast & Furious movies. Where’s the next car or car part that the rest of the world is just starting to notice? And, what’s already popular enough amongst hardcore gearheads that simply cannot be ignored?

This time around, Tire Stickers is one of those things.

Tire lettering is an awesome way to show your personality and the personality of your car, so we’re seeing more and more drivers opt for that look.

Just take a look at this walkthrough of the upcoming cars in “The Fate of the Furious,” and check out the gorgeous Subaru BRZ outfitted with Toyo Tire Stickers:

All in all, Tire Stickers’ Toyo Tires decals are featured on no less than seven cars in the movie.

This is not an isolated incident for Tire Stickers, either. For example, it was pretty difficult to get through SEMA in 2016 without tripping over a car with Tire Stickers on it.

The newest Need for Speed game has more and more cars repping tire lettering:

And the same goes for Grand Theft Auto V:

With Tire Stickers permeating popular car culture, it only makes sense that they’re popping up in “The Fate of the Furious.” And with a million reasons to see the next Fast & Furious movie, you just got one more: to find the next cool thing for your ride.
