1920s-Era Immersive Experience Celebrates Its Third Installment In Early November

Established for automobile aficionados, vintage lovers and gentleman’s racing fans alike, the Grand Prix of Scottsdale will roar down the streets of downtown Scottsdale’s Waterfront District on November 3-5, 2017.  The stylish, three-day weekend event celebrates early 20th Century replica cycle car ‘Vintage Mini Racers’, century-old global brands, the luxe euphoria of the Roaring 1920s and gentleman’s (and ladies!) racing.

Racing teams, spectators and participants alike take a step back in time with the Grand Prix of Scottsdale’s 1920s theme that features an opening night Gatsby ‘Under The Stars’, two-day trackside Gatsby beer & spirit gardens, a Family Fun Zone and, of course, Sunday’s main event Grand Prix race with a Vintage Victory Winner’s Circle closing celebration.

“At our Grand Prix, you don’t have to be a spectator,” comments Ron Kotloff, one of six Grand Prix founding members, “you can take part in the colorful Grand Prix weekend by building your own race team and branding your very own Vintage Mini Racer.  Our last two Grand Prixs have attracted charity, local corporate, national and international brand race teams.”

According to Kotloff, racing of Vintage Kart Company’s unique, Arizona-built Vintage Mini Racers in the camaraderie and team-oriented Grand Prix bestows the genuine, authentic and historic tenets that align perfectly with domestic and international heritage brands.  “We’d love to have a heritage or automotive brand as a title sponsor,” comments Jack Gee, a partner with Kotloff in Vintage Kart Company and the Grand Prix, “as the Grand Prix is a family-oriented, all-ages event that attracts a great demographic and gets some fantastic media coverage.”

With elements of racing, automotive, culinary, fashion, brand heritage and music, the Grand Prix of Scottsdale gives its VIPs and guests a well-rounded, immersive sensory experience.  “We’re unique in that the ‘Everyman’ or ‘Everywoman’, whether an employee, VP or a preferred vendor or client, can live the dream and become a driver in the Grand Prix,” adds Gee.  “Our entire Grand Prix and Vintage Kart Company teams take pride in offering a world-class event in a world-class city like Scottsdale that hosts some of the best automotive events in the country,” he closes.

Start your engine.  It sounds like the Grand Prix of Scottsdale’s third annual event will be its best ever.
