Worldwide Auctioneers Taking Over Scottsdale with Supercars

Worldwide Auctioneers executed a growth-oriented 2017 auction calendar with a highly successful Scottsdale debut, relocation of the Texas Classic auction to Arlington, the establishment of a beachhead at Pacific Grove on the Monterey Peninsula, and a 97% sell-through rate at its signature Auburn auction. Kicking off 2018 with a highly anticipated return to Scottsdale on January 17th as the first catalog auction to be held there, the Worldwide team has assembled another exciting selection of choice collector cars as the auction company to watch.

Featuring one of the best-curated auction lineups to be offered this year at Scottsdale, Worldwide Auctioneers’ selection of collector cars spans automotive history from the Brass Era to the New Millennium. In recognition of the strong collector appreciation of, and demand for, modern Supercars, Worldwide’s offerings include the following modern legends, ready for acquisition by smart collectors and enthusiasts.

2003 Ferrari Enzo

Certified by Ferrari Classiche, this original U.S.-delivery Enzo is one of only 400 produced. Autographed by Enzo designer, Ken Okuyama, it comes from a private collector and remains virtually as-new with only an approximate 2,700 miles and it was displayed at Ferrari North America’s 60th Anniversary Concours.

2014 Mercedes-Benz ‘Black Series’ SLS AMG

A tour de force on every level, this stunning performer is 1 of only 150 built for worldwide production and 1 of just 5 finished in striking Mars Red. Benefiting from the care of two owners with just over 2,000 miles from new, it offers mind-bending performance with a 622- HP V-8 from AMG’s wizards.

1982 Porsche 930 “Sonderwunsche”

When even the mighty 930 Turbo wasn’t enough during the early 1980s, Porsche satisfied its top clients with its elite “Sonderwunsche” or “Special Wishes” program. Prominently featuring race-derived “Slantnose” frontal bodywork, this bespoke 1982 Porsche 930 is the 13th of 42 created for 1982 and one of 59 built in all. RuF upgrades boost power to 341 HP.

2006 Saleen S7 Twin Turbo

Quite likely the ultimate American Supercar, this aggressive and almost otherworldly Saleen S7 is an ultra-rare and virtually new Twin Turbo with just 1,153 miles. As 1 of just 13 Twin Turbos built in 2006, this car is believed the last S7 produced (#74). Powered by a 750 HP twin-turbocharged, all-aluminum 427 V-8 engine, it is capable of 0-to-60 in 2.8 seconds with a claimed 248-mph top end.

2015 Porsche 918 Spyder

Porsche’s latest and greatest Supercar is a truly historic achievement with mind-blowing performance and specifications including an 887-HP Hybrid powertrain. Featuring a great color combination, this 2015 Porsche 918 Spyder is collector-owned and impeccably maintained with only an approximate 1,300 miles of use.

2005 Porsche Carrera GT

Downright wild, the Porsche Carrera GT is an unbridled racing car for the road. One of only 604 Carrera GTs originally sent to the U.S. market, this collector-owned car marks one of the high-water marks of modern Porsche road-car performance.

2016 Lamborghini Aventador LP750-4 SuperVeloce Roadster

Quite possibly the first SuperVeloce Roadster offered at public auction, this example is 1 of just 500 produced and benefits from just one owner from new with only 350 actual miles. The first topless SuperVeloce from Lamborghini, with a 750-HP 6.5L V-12.

1992 Lamborghini Diablo

This 1992 Lamborghini Diablo is an uncommonly pure example of Lamborghini’s long-awaited successor to the Countach and remains the company’s definitive 1990s Supercar.
