Recently, I covered DragTimes test of the Tesla Model S and its new Ludicrous+ Mode. This mode allows the car to run 0-60 mph in just 2.4 seconds. Now, I’ve learned about a Model S that’s built for racing and can rocket from 0-60 mph in just 2 seconds.

This Model S was built to race in the Electric GT Championship and was unveiled at the Autosport International show, according to CarScoops. This racing series will comprise of identical Model S race cars, each housing 778 horsepower and that insane acceleration. What everyone seems to be pointing out about this car is that it can run 0-60 mph half-of-a-second faster than the Porsche 918 Spyder hypercar. Impressive? You bet.
