This new electric airplane looks to change the way you fly.

There’s a growing demand for all-electric airplanes and Bye Aerospace is answering the call with the new eFlyer 800. This new model is an 8-seater all-electric twin turbo-prop class airplane that has incredible specs. Bye Aerospace notes that it will have a 320-knot cruise speed, 35,000 feet ceiling and 500 nm range. They also note that it’s loaded with safety features, like the two wing-mounted electric motors that are paid with dual redundant motor windings, quad-redundant battery packs and a full airplane parachute for worst-case scenarios. While this is all incredible, Bye Aerospace notes that they may go even further for safety’s sake with potential features like an emergency auto-landing system, supplemental power solar cells, terrain avoidance and more. As far as operating costs go, the company says the eFlyer 800’s will be one-fifth of what a traditional twin turboprops’ operating cost.

There’s no word as of a price of release date for the eFlyer 800 but we’ll let you all know when information is released.
