Despite challenges, Pilatus managed to make 2021 an outstanding year.
In 2021, many companies and manufacturers struggled with supply chain issues but some managed to fare better than others. Take Pilatus, for example, a company that saw outstanding results in 2021.
Despite running into supply chain issues, Pilatus still managed to deliver 152 aircraft in total. That amount is actually a new production record for the company. The breakdown for the models delivered includes 45 PC-24s, 88 PC-12 NGXs, 17 PC-21s, and 2 PC-6s.
In terms of sales, Pilatus saw 1.3 billion Swiss francs (~$1.391 billion USD) and incoming orders totaled in at 1.7 billion francs (~$1.8 billion USD). To celebrate these numbers and the deliveries, Pilatus handed out a bonus for all 2100+ employees at their headquarters in Stans, Switzerland. That amount was equal to about one and a half months’ salary.
