While the 23xi Racing team continues to compete at the highest level of NASCAR at the hands of Michael Jordan, inspiration from his all-star NBA career finds its way into the sport of automotive racing. After showcasing an early season racing livery that mimics the styling of the Air Jordan 3 ‘Black Cement’ colorway, 23xi Racing is back with yet another sneaker-inspired design for the #45 Toyota of NASCAR veteran Kurt Busch. The NASCAR professionals at 23xii are proud to showcase Kurt Busch’s new racing livery inspired by the iconic Air Jordan 11 ‘Concord’, a legendary silhouette most recognized during Michael Jordan’s performance at the 1996 NBA Playoffs.

The exterior of the #45 Toyota is split in black and white just as the Concord 11s come, using a wavy center line to separate the plush white mesh and black patent leather of the basketball sneaker. With a logo on the heel that highlights MJ’s notorious dunk pose, 23xi Racing incorporates the Jumpman onto the lightweight hood of the race car with its well-known insignia. Kurt Busch sports the #45 to commemorate one of the numbers worn by Michael during his career, while teammate Bubba Wallace takes the world-famous #23.
