Persol is paying homage to Steve McQueen’s infamous style with its new 714SM Collection featuring a 24k Gold Plated pair. The Persol 714SM Havana sunglasses are inspired by the first-ever folding Pilot-style frames from the 1960s. Made in Italy, the tortoise-colored Acetate frames house 24k Gold plated crystal lenses, making the limited-edition design the most collectible of the four pairs. Each pair comes with a genuine brown leather case stamped with ‘Steve McQueen’ to signify the special release by Persol. The limited-edition Persol 714SM 24k Gold sunglasses are currently available through the manufacturer for the price of $790.
