Sony has announced their entry into the drone arena and its name is Airpeak. This new drone project from Sony is designed for video creators and seems to tilt more towards the professional side. In fact, Sony is will soon be searching for professional partners to take part in the Airpeak project ahead of its launch in Spring 2021. While details are scant, what we do know is that the drone can be equipped with one of Sony’s Alpha cameras to capture photography and video. Sony also notes that Airpeak will be able to safely handle environments that were difficult in the past.
