Iguana Yachts, famous for their amphibious yachts, have announced that they have delivered the first diesel outboard on their Commuter model. The boat was completed at the Iguana Yachts French factory, located in Caen, Normandy. This actually marks the first time in France that a boar was equipped with a diesel outboard engine of 300 horsepower. As for the powerplant, it’s a quiet and powerful CXO300 engine. There are many benefits to a diesel engine on a boat, with the name ones being that they last longer and consume less fuel. And less fuel being consumed means more time out on the water.
