If fueling up your jet ski has become too laborious and annoying, you have to check out the Narke GT95. Why? This new personal watercraft is the world’s first electric jet ski that’s created with serial production in mind. With 50kW of power, the GT95 can hit an electronically-limited maximum speed of 30 knots (34.5 mph) and it also has a range of 2 hours. When the batteries are depleted, they can charge back up to 80% in less than 2 hours with the quick charge option. As for its design, it comes with a carbon fiber hull that has room for three passengers. Onboard, there’s a screen that displays navigation and weather via a Bluetooth connection to the rider’s phone. As we move further into the future, electronic watercraft will become more common and the Narke GT95 is a perfect example of that. Also check out the Drakkar S, an autonomous, solar-powered Viking yacht concept.
