melin Launches New Contla Collection Inspired By Baja 1000

melin’s latest collection, Contla, draws inspiration from the scorching heat, rich culture, and high-speed off-road racing of Mexico like the Baja 1000. The Contla collection pays tribute to the region where the iconic serape print originated, blending history and culture into a stunning hat design. Within the Contla collection are the new Coronado Brick Hydro Cinco and the Odyssey Stacked Hydro Cinco. To make sure these hats were up to the task, melin had Baja 1000 winner Alan Ampudia test them out. Needless to say, they passed with brilliant colors.

The Hydro collection is known for its innovative use of materials and construction techniques that provide unparalleled performance in any weather condition. The hats are made with a 100% hydrophobic polyester material that repels water and dries quickly, keeping the wearer cool and dry even during an intense activity like off-road racing.

The Coronado Brick Hydro Cinco is a classic trucker-style hat with a modern twist. The front panel is made with a unique brick pattern that adds texture and dimension to the hat, while the back is made with breathable mesh panels that allow for maximum airflow. The hat also features a moisture-wicking sweatband that keeps sweat away from the face and eyes, and an adjustable snapback closure that ensures a comfortable and secure fit for all head sizes.

The Odyssey Stacked Hydro Cinco, on the other hand, is a more streamlined and modern design. It features a low-profile crown and a flat brim that provides a sleek and stylish look. The front panel is made with a stacked design that adds depth and texture to the hat, while the back is made with a moisture-wicking sweatband and breathable mesh panels. The hat also has an adjustable snapback closure for a customized fit.
