Aside from starring in the “Fast and Furious” franchise and action films of the like, actor Jason Statham’s talents include home renovation and restoration. Just five years ago, Statham snapped up this Hollywood Hills estate for $2.7 million. Now he’s just just listed the property for $6.995 million after painstakingly restoring and remastering it alongside Standard Architects and VRB builders.
The result is a Mid-Century Modern masterpiece with Scandinavian-inspired interior décor. The design stays true to its roots with asymmetrical architecture, cedar highlights and minimalistic design. Oversized sliding glass doors and windows flood the home with natural light. Coupled with stark white walls, the space feels open and airy.
The remodel was featured in Architectural Digest, where Statham said, “I’m always looking for places to either renovate or to buy, to move up the ladder.” Proving this statement to be true, he also recently unloaded a stylish Malibu beach home for $18.5 million just a few months prior.
Quite contrastingly to his former Malibu listing, which made a statement alongside the oceanfront in a stark black contemporary styling, Statham’s newest listing features concrete floors throughout its 3,000 square feet. Encompassed are four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a floorplan that transcends the indoors through to the outdoors.
