Dale Earnhardt Jr. Lists the Ultimate Key West Mansion

Maximizing on Key West vibes and a relaxed Florida lifestyle, Dale Earnhardt Jr. has recently listed his most recent renovation project in Key West, Florida for $3.7 million. This historic home dates back to 1863 – built during the Civil War era – and has been restored and renovated hailing its history, as well as the vibrant stylings of typical Key West homes.

Residing in the heart of Old Town with many historical features, including a secret hatch door to observe the parlor, the home has retained much of its original structure. Earnhardt Jr. himself designed the kitchen in keeping with traditional Key West design. The pirate-themed motif features rustic wood cabinetry, a live-edge wood bar top, netting, ropes and a pirate ship’s wheel.

Of the five bedrooms and three-and-two-half bathrooms, the Master Bedroom’s most notable feature is a latch railing along its balcony that allows homeowners and guests to jump from the second story into the 13 or 14-foot-deep pool in the backyard. Reportedly, the pool is one of the largest and deepest in all of Key West.

The estate also encompasses a legal guest house with plans to turn it from a one-bedroom to a two-bedroom, one full bath separate structure.
