The Elvis Presley Honeymoon Hideaway has been sold for $2.6 million, which is actually $100k over the listing price. This news comes to us from the listing agent, Scott Histed of Bennion Deville Homes. This home is located in the highly sought after Vista Las Palmas community in Palm Springs, California. With mountain views, incredible architecture, and the name “Elvis” in its history, it’s no wonder it sold over the asking price. The person behind the house was Robert Alexander who built the home for his family in 1960. Dubbed the “House of Tomorrow” by Look Magazine, this house has been talked about and visited for decades by fans of architecture and Elvis. From the rock walls to the floating fireplace and massive Master suite, you could spend an untold amount of time admiring this home. As for Elvis’ time here, he and Priscilla Presley were residents of the house in 1966 and 1967 and the couple actually spent their honeymoon here, hence the nickname.
