Deep inside Subaru lies a dedicated team of engineers. Never content to allow a boring WRX or BRZ hang around their shop, they decided to work their magic on a new Subaru BRX for sale. This collaboration between Subaru and Toyota began with Scion. Toyota did the heavy engineering while Subaru supplied their latest flat-four cylinder engine.
Most recently, Akio Toyoda forbid the launch of the GT86 to give it a unique personality compared to the BRZ, so Subaru has responded by allowing STI to work their magic.
