BAC Mono Beats LaFerrari’s Lap Record Around Red Bull Ring

By almost six seconds.

The BAC Mono R, a limited edition supercar, has just set the production car lap record at the Red Bull Ring in Austria. Adam Christodoulou was the driver behind the feat who managed a lap time of just 1:32.96, beating out Hubert Haupt’s time of 1:38.95 in a Ferrari LaFerrari. What’s more, this took place during the Pirelli P Zero Experience, meaning there was a crowd on hand to enjoy the record-breaking lap. During Christodoulou’s lap, he managed an insane average speed of 122 mph which is downright crazy. The next stop for the BAC Mono R is the P Zero Experience Germany at Hockenheim on October 14. Maybe we’ll see another record-breaking lap!
