Watching an artist at work is the purest form of catharsis. Kenny Bräck is McLaren’s Chief Test Driver and a veteran of open-wheel racing. In order to prove a car is more than just a sum of its parts, Carfection latest upload is the McLaren 600LT Spider in Hot Laps with Kenny Bräck behind the wheel.
For a quick refresher, the 600LT Spider is their latest long tail. It offers 592 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque along with flamethrower exhaust from the 600LT Coupe. Bräck formerly raced for Lazante, the same firm that transforms McLaren’s race cars into street-legal beasts. With Henry Catchpole riding shotgun, multiple cameras were used to record a session at Arizona Motorsports Park.
