Since the first launch of the Omega x Swatch MoonSwatch Collection, collectors around the world continue to visit select flagship Swatch locations in hopes of acquiring their favorite planet variation. Now almost exactly one year later, Omega and Swatch are proud to return with a special version of the MoonSwatch produced exclusively during the full moon of February. The all-new Mission to the Moon MoonSwatch features a matte grey case finish and black dial design that resembles Omega’s staple Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional.
The biggest difference between the newest model and the others is the seconds hand made of Omega’s Moonshine Gold. Being a reduced version of the famous luxury model, the Speedmaster MoonSwatch is driven by a simple quartz movement that utilizes a battery as the main power source. The Mission to the Moon comes fit on a matching black nylon strap with each brand’s logo. Packaging includes a special black and gold box, along with a certification card guaranteeing its production during the full moon cycle. The new Omega x Swatch Mission to the Moon MoonSwatch is available today, exclusively in-store at Swatch locations in Zurich, London, Milan, and Tokyo. Swatch also reveals that other locations will receive the special-edition MoonSwatch during the next full moon.
