Corum Reveals Its All-New Bubble X-Ray Watch, Limited To Only 666-Pieces

Corum

The original concept of the Bubble: daring, different, and designed for those who enjoy making their own distinctive statement.

The idea behind dial design looks far past its simplicity as a space for deciphering time, giving watchmakers a blank canvas to incorporate their creative vision. The horology experts at Corum instill this thought into their Bubble Collection, a series of oversized watches with an even larger crystal to magnify the artistic dial configurations. Corum is proud to debut the limited-edition Bubble X-Ray as the newest addition to its fleet of luxury watches. The Bubble X-Ray features a 47mm case made from black PVD-treated stainless steel, sealed with a large sapphire crystal to withstand an impressive 100-meter water resistance.

Commemorating the first Corum Bubble to make its debut in 2000 with a skull design, the dial of the Bubble X-Ray showcases a highly stylized yet realistic-looking skull taking center stage. The skull represents life, death, and the concept of Die de Muertos, which also is fully visible at night because of its luminescent finish. The watch is powered by an automatic movement (CO 082) that beats at 4Hz and offers 42 hours of power reserve. A small transparent opening to its backcase allows for a closer look at the inner working of the Bubble X-Ray’s movement, with engravings on the outer portion numbering each of the 666-pieces released. Continuing its dark theme, Corum fits each Bubble X-Ray with a comfortable black nylon strap with bright green contrast stitching. The new limited-edition Corum Bubble X-Ray is currently available through an authorized dealer with a price tag of $4,155.
