Discover the New TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 Lineup

Aquaracer 2

TAG Heuer has given the beloved Aquaracer modern updates for a stylish new look.

All the way back in 1978 when the Heuer Ref. 844 was introduced to the world. This divers’ watch would go on to be a legend among dive watches and is still beloved by divers around the world. Skip ahead over 40 years and TAG Heuer is continuing the watch’s legacy with the new Aquaracer Professional 300. Unveiled during the Watches & Wonders 2021 event, this new model modernizes the Aquaracer while allowing it to retain the iconic design that was introduced decades ago. When designing the watch, TAG Heuer wanted to ensure that the six signature features of the Aquaracer were still included: a unidirectional rotating bezel, a screw-down crown, water-resistance up to at least 200 meters, luminous markings, sapphire glass, and a double safety clasp. They succeeded and also managed to update a few of these features. First up is the 12-sided bezel which now has a scratch-resistant ceramic insert, fluting on each of the facets, and a new internal tooth profile that allows for a smoother rotation. Other updated aspects include a magnifier added into the underside of the sapphire glass, new hour and minute hand shapes, green and blue Super-LumiNova, more rounded crown protection, eight octagonal hour markers, redesigned case back, a thinner profile, and a lighter weight.

In total, there are seven references in the new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 300 lineup. This also includes one with CS+ diamonds and the limited Aquaracer Professional 300 Tribute to Ref. 844. For more information, be sure to visit TAG Heuer’s website.
