Ulysse Nardin checks-off form and function with its newest timepiece.

The vision behind Ulysse Nardin’s timepieces embodies marine-inspired functionality with luxury design and technology. The luxury watch brand is celebrating 175-years of Haute Horlogerie with a new addition to the Chronometry Collection. The new limited-edition Ulysse Nardin Torpilleur Tourbillon takes shape in a 42mm case design crafted from 18K Rose Gold, with a functional water-resistance of 50-meters. Along with its precious metal case, the Torpilleur Tourbillon features an elegant black and enamel dial layout that highlights the craftsmanship of Ulysse Nardin. An open window at the 6 o’clock position displays the flying tourbillon in action, while the 12 o’clock sub-dial tracks the power reserve.

Delivering power to the Torpilleur is Ulysses Nardin’s in-house UN-128 Constant Tourbillon movement, which holds an impressive 60-hour power reserve. A clear sapphire backcase allows for a closer look at the inner workings of the complication, with the outer portion individually numbered to signify the special release from Ulysse Nardin. Tying into the formal styling of the Torpilleur Tourbillon, Ulysse Nardin fits the new model with a genuine black leather strap and rose gold 5N deployant buckle.
