A flash of color guaranteed to catch the eye in verdant brilliance.

For most avid watch enthusiasts, the ability to identify luxury timepieces in the wild comes easy because of prior knowledge and the willingness to learn more about the subject. Although the average Joe may not know reference numbers and calibers, the appreciation for a beautiful watch dial seems to be the cross road between each side of the spectrum. The horologists at Girard-Perregaux operate with the understanding that its clientele is made up of veteran watch collectors, along with newcomers drawn by the attention of a specific timepiece. Girard-Perregaux is proud to showcase the new Laureato Green as its head-turning variation following the ongoing trend of green dials.

The new Girard-Perregaux Laureato Green features a 42mm stainless steel case with its notorious octagonal fixed bezel, sealed to a withstand an impressive 100-meter water resistance. A sunray green ‘Cloud de Paris’ pattern dial acts as its attention-grabbing characteristic. The dial adds contrast using ‘baton’ type black PVD indexes and hands that decipher its time/date functions. On the backcase is a clear sapphire window that displays the inner workings of the movement, with engravings on the outer portion that signify the special release from Girard-Perregaux. An in-house GP01800-2035 self-winding movement powers the Laureato, holding a lengthy 54-hour power reserve from its 191-piece construction. Highlighting an elegant touch on its most popular sport model, Girard-Perregaux fits the new Laureato on a satin stainless steel bracelet with polished center links. The new Girard-Perregaux Laureato Green is currently available through an authorized dealer with a price tag of $14,300.
