Girard-Perregaux

Girard-Perregaux brings back a classic design for watch collectors.

For most industries, success is measured by innovation and the willingness to adapt using advancements within the appropriate sector of business. The watch industry operates quite differently, with some of the most well-known brands re-introducing modern versions of classic models that help build the industry into what it is today. Girard-Perregaux follows that same way of thinking with its newest release featuring a re-imagined design that was first debuted in 1976. Girard-Perregaux is proud to present the new Casquette 2.0, a new creation that mimics the design of the 8,200 examples from the 1970s that are now viewed as sought-after pieces by watch aficionados.

The limited-edition Casquette 2.0 features a vintage 42mm square case design crafted from a blend of black ceramic and titanium. The digitalized dial is subtly featured on the front face of the case, where the Girard-Perregaux logo is proudly placed above it. The new-age Casquette 2.0 is driven by the in-house GP3980, which features month, year, chronograph, second time zone, and secret date functions. Keeping the Casquette 2.0 period correct to its original design, Girard-Perregaux fits the new release with a black ceramic and rubber strap. The all-new Girard-Perregaux Casquette 2.0 is limited to only 820-pieces and is currently available through an authorized retailer for $4,700.
