Hublot releases its first-ever 100% ceramic minute repeater.

As the watch industry continues to discover new materials and movement technology to enhance the design of luxury examples, leading brands are incorporating new ideas into some of the industry’s most iconic models. Hublot is proud to take the Big Bang to the next level with the all-new Integral Tourbillon Cathedral Minute Repeater Ceramic Collection. The limited-edition Big Bang features a 43mm case design crafted entirely from satin-finished ceramic, which comes available in black or white variations. Hublot achieves its perfect monochrome finish by using an intricate machining process that needs to be revisited upon the smallest single mistake. The skeleton dial design offers a look inside the grand complication that drives Hublot’s hours, minutes, seconds, tourbillon, and minute repeater functions.

The engine powering the new Big Bang Integral Cathedral Minute Repeater is Hublot’s in-house MHUB801 movement, which provides a lengthy 80-hour power reserve while operating under a 30-meter water resistance. The incredible power reserve is a nod to Hublot’s technological advancements, as the Swiss watch manufacturer continues to hold the world record for a tourbillon power reserve (50-days). The transparent back case allows collectors and enthusiasts the opportunity to view the artistic movement in action, while the outer case showcases a series of engravings to signify the special release from Hublot. Continuing to incorporate the precious material into its design, Hublot fits each Integral Tourbillon Cathedral Minute Repeater with a color-matching full-ceramic bracelet and deployant clasp. The all-new Hublot Big Bang Integral Tourbillon Cathedral Minute Repeater Collection is limited to only 18-pieces of each version and is currently available for $295,000.
